About the University	The University of Graz, founded in 1585, is Austria's second oldest university and one of the largest in the country. Faculty of Law Founded in 1778 as the third faculty of University of Graz, REWI Graz, with its approximately 4,000 students is among the largest law schools in the region. REWI Graz is home to widely renowned scholars across a broad range of fields. Many members of its faculty serve as High Court Judges and internationally recognized advocates and experts. Their unqualified commitment to excellence ensures the highest standards in research, teaching and training.

Extra requirements	You will need to be able to understand, speak and write German at an adequate level if you want to study at the University of Graz. With a few exceptions all courses are held in German. The minimum German level at the moment of application is B2 and at the moment of departure is C1 on CEFR scale.

Financial support / Grants	More information on study and placement grants for law students can be found at the website www.rug.nl/law/lep. An Erasmus+ grant covers part of the travel and accommodation expenses involved in studying abroad. At the moment the Erasmus+ grant has been set at € 330 - € 390 per calendar month, depending on the country of your host university. This may change per academic year. Your application for an exchange period at one of the Faculty's partner universities also counts as your application for a grant. When you receive notification of a place for study abroad, you will also learn more about the Erasmus grant.
