About the University	NEW PARTNER from 2024/25 !!! - NO REPORTS AVAILABLE YET The Department of Law, which was founded in 1875, is based at the Saint-Paul campus in Lyon and the Alpes Europe campus in Annecy. Every year, it welcomes students who wish to join a dynamic and open university community where students, lecturers, researchers and administrative staff from different disciplines work together to achieve success and self-fulfilment. The Department of Law aims to train quality jurists (lawyers, notaries, magistrates, and company lawyers) but also critical thinkers, who will be active in the development of our society. The objective is to develop the theoretical, technical, and methodological skills of our students, but also to orient them towards human training, international openness, and the understanding of developments, particularly technological development

Extra requirements	Depending on the language of instruction, you would need to provide a proof of your English or/and French proficiency: an equivalent to a CEFR level B2 at the moment of application and C1 at the moment of departure. IMPORTANT: If you only intend to follow courses in English in Bologna, make sure to mention it in the remarks field of your Exchange Application form. Even if you choose to only follow courses in English, it is advisable to have at least a basic knowledge of French to assure a comfortable stay in France.
Important information	A French language course is offered free of charge to all Exchange students. Undergraduate exchange students are requested to follow at least one undergraduate course.

Financial support / Grants	More information on study and placement grants for law students can be found at the website www.rug.nl/law/lep. An Erasmus+ grant covers part of the travel and accommodation expenses involved in studying abroad. At the moment the Erasmus+ grant has been set at € 330 - € 390 per calendar month, depending on the country of your host university. This may change per academic year. Your application for an exchange period at one of the Faculty's partner universities also counts as your application for a grant. When you receive notification of a place for study abroad, you will also learn whether or not you have been awarded a Erasmus grant and receive more information on the Erasmus grant.
