Extra requirements	According to the language in which you plan on taking your courses (English and/or French), you would need to provide a proof of your language proficiency: an equivalent to a CEFR level B2 at the moment of application and C1 at the moment of departure. Students from the English taught LLB programme are exempt from this requirement in regards to the English language proficiency for the internal application process at the UG. It is possible to only take English taught courses during your exchange period at this university! However, in that case, we still strongly recommend a good basic knowledge of French to assure the smooth exchange period abroad. ATTENTION: If you only wish to take courses in English, please specify it in the remarks field of your Exchange Application form.
Important information	This university offers a fully English taught LLB+LLM programme in Anglo-American Law (all courses available to the exchnage students) and a LL.M. programme in French and European Union Law with a specialization in Taxation Law, Business Law and Compliance (you may enroll to max. 2 courses per semester).

Financial support / Grants	More information on study and placement grants for law students can be found at the website www.rug.nl/law/lep. An Erasmus+ grant covers part of the travel and accommodation expenses involved in studying abroad. At the moment the Erasmus+ grant has been set at € 330 - € 390 per calendar month, depending on the country of your host university. This may change per academic year. Your application for an exchange period at one of the Faculty's partner universities also counts as your application for a grant. When you receive notification of a place for study abroad, you will also learn more about the Erasmus grant.
